Danish rye bread is a dense, dark and hearty sourdough bread made 100% with dark rye flour and packed with rye flakes. It has a nutty, earthy flavour and slightly malty from the rye and dark beer, with a distinctive tangy flavour from the sourdough fermentation. The dough is a wet batter and baked in a Pullman pan for even baking and square shape.
